Hometown has once again worked very hard to bring an awesome musical line up to our free to enter festival. We have a whole host of exceptionally talented musicians on show. Please be aware the line up may change due to reasons beyond our control.

Saturday 25th August

19:00 – Splinter

Splinter is a 4 piece band playing a blend of rock,blues and country music cover songs and original material. All lifelong musicians, Splinter benefits from the huge combined experience of Rupe Rance on drums, Ian McLaughlin on bass guitar, Steven Thornton on keyboards and Gavin Driver on guitar and vocals. Currently recording an album of original material for release in the the near future, they continue to gig regularly in the local area.


20:30 – H!TS

HITS are a fresh five piece that play the biggest 90s throwbacks to current chart hits. Unique live arrangements and a dynamic line up will give your night the party it deserves with their funk-orientated take on artistes such as Amy Winehouse, Basement Jaxx, Bruno Mars, Calvin Harris, Craig David, Dizzee Rascal, Dua Lipa… and that’s just the A-D section of their repertoire!

Chris Ricketts

The roots of Chris Ricketts love affair with sea songs lie in seafaring Portsmouth, where he was born and bred and involved in the city’s acoustic and folk music scene since the age of 15. Shortly after this musical discovery Chris was invited to play at the International Maritime Festival in Vegesack, Germany.  It was here that the whirlwind of bookings and International acclaim started.  Within a matter of months Chris was playing all over Europe and America.



13:00 – Russ Hibberd and the Factory Five

I have been writing my own material for the last twenty years but only over the last to years or so have I been performing as a solo artist at local open mic nights. But now in the last couple of months some very talented musicians have come on board to form Russ Hibberd And The Factory Five. A band to perform and give life to the songs I have written over the years. Russ Hibberd And The Factory Five.

Becky Jerams

Becky Jerams is a singer/songwriter from UK whose songs have been placed on TV shows, adverts, movies and with established pop acts around the world. Last summer, her co-written song “You Better Know” was cut by K-Pop band Red Velvet on their album “The Red Summer” and reached number one on the worldwide album charts. She has written for many other artists in Asia and Europe, scoring chart placements, music videos and TV performances of her songs around the world.

As well as songwriting, Becky also performs acoustically, showcasing her back catalogue of melodic tracks. Her strong, smooth vocals have gained her fans around the world, along with her quirky lyrics and emotional storytelling. Recommended for fans of female singer/songwriters such as Ingrid Michaelson, Sara Bareilles and Alanis Morisette.



15:00 – Petersfield Theatre Group

Described by her followers as having elements of Björk, Kate Bush, Suzanne Vega and Goldfrapp, all wrapped into a tiny, artistic explosion, BRUCH is a purveyor of curious, electronic sounds, multi-layered vocals and ethereal melodies, bringing her classical cello training into the mix for an eclectic juxtaposition. BRUCH is completely self-produced, and 98% of the sounds you hear in her music are created entirely by he



18:00- Legends

‘LEGENDS’, the ultimate boy band tribute show. Take a trip through your all-time favourite boy band smash hits. With their high energy show full of smooth harmonies, dance moves & special effects, ‘LEGENDS’ will take you to Pop Heaven.


19:45 - The Bayonettes

The Bayonettes are a powerful guitar driven indie rock and roll band from Portsmouth.

With an unstoppable rhythm section, edgy vocals and driving guitars they have a heavyweight modern sound with a hint of 90s Britpop for good measure.

Since 2013 they have toured extensively playing at venues, festivals and radio stations across the UK and are striving to take themselves and their music to the next level.



20:45 – Alive

Monday 27th August 

12:00 - Jonathan Thompson Band


Jonathan Thompson writes poetic songs influenced by English, Canadian and American folk music and will be joined on stage at the Petersfield Summer Festival with local musicians Steve Dove – acoustic rhythm guitar, Jez Shipton – Electric guitar, Mike Knee – Double Bass & David Loveless – Cajon.

Thompson’s songs have a gentle narrative that reflect the transience of time supported by a punchy rhythm using his National Steel resonator guitar with memorable slide melodies.

Influences include Gordon Lightfoot, Simon & Garfunkel, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Jackson Browne & Steve Tilston.


13:00 – 10 Bob Notes


10 Bob Notes are an all female close harmony singing group who have been singing together since November 2016. 10 Bob Notes are all former members of a large choir based in Southampton. When this came to an end they decided to form their own small group concentrating on harmonies and developing their own style, singing a diverse range of music including 1940s swing, country and modern pop covers.


14:00 – Nearly Nashville

Inspired by the TV Show ‘Nashville’ and formed in Autumn 2017, Petersfield-based Nearly Nashville features a female vocalist with live band, performing upbeat, catchy Modern Country covers that’ll have you up and dancing in no time. Covers range from Carrie Underwood to Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift to Hayden Panettiere.

16:00 – M.I.N.K.


M.I.N.K are a four-piece contemporary indie outfit hailing from a mysterious location deep within the Surrey hills. Years of collecting colour co-ordinated guitars and diverse synthesisers have resulted in a creative sound of the ‘highest quality’. Debuting on the live scene this year, the raw energy of M.I.N.K is not to be missed.


 17:00 – The Frank and Dean Show


Join Frank (Tom Wood) and Dean (Aaron Brett) as they rekindle the magic of the Frank and Dean show live! Inspired by the classic moments brought to you by Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, this is an hour of song and laughs you won’t forget!
